Eco-Friendly Product Subscription

MightyFix

When I began researching eco-friendly product swaps, I discovered MightyFix, a monthly subscription box from MightyNest that introduces your home to earth-conscious products that are also free of “concerning” chemicals. For $11 a month (pre-tax), you get a new, full size product in the mail that is shipped in recyclable, minimal packaging. You have the ability to choose your next product from a list or you can let them decide for you (I like to be surprised). Here are some of the products I’ve received since signing up:

  • Dryer balls (replaces dryer sheets)

  • Bee’s Wrap set (replaces other wraps you use, such as plastic wrap or aluminum foil)

  • Flip & Tumble produce bags (replaces the plastic bags you use when getting produce at the store)

  • Spray bottle set (replaces household spray cleaners by providing a glass, reusable bottle and a small container with pellets - please note, the brand I received is not a disinfectant, if that’s what you’re looking for)

  • Tidy dishcloths (replaces/cuts back on paper towel usage)

  • Healing balm

  • Collapse-It food storage

  • Stainless steel straws

Some of these products have become a seamless part of my routine and have introduced me to products I was not aware existed. I love getting new, reusable products that help the environment and can also save me money by cutting back on single-use items I’d be using instead.

As a MightyFix subscriber, you can also shop from the MightNest online store for discounts on items to add to your monthly box, for no additional shipping charge. Items you might find in the store include:

  • Shampoo and conditioner bars (to get your hair care done sans-plastic)

  • Reusable silverware kits (perfect for school or work lunches and picnics)

  • Reusable bags (sandwich bags, shopping bags, and even trash bags)

  • Food huggers (to store sliced fruit)

  • And many more items that range from products for the home to self-care to kids and pets

If you’re interested in signing up, let me know as I have a couple of invites I can send for you to get your first month free. If you’re not interested in signing up, but are interested in checking out the products, you can still shop MightNest.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Please reach out with any questions, comments, or suggestions below, through my social channels (links at the top of the page), or via email.
